      First look:

      PES University (PESU) happens to be a private university in Bengaluru, India. Set up in 1972, it is centered around four fundamental education streams in: Medicine, Engineering, Management and Life Sciences. The establishment offers both foundation courses in these areas, and in addition specialization with a Bachelors/Masters/PhD degree. Initially named the PES Institute of Technology (PESIT), it was given the present name in 2013.

      Ranking:

      PES University was positioned at number seven in the ‘Most Trusted Educational Institutes’ listing from brand analytics and insights company TRA (formerly known as Trust Research Advisory).

      Placements:

      In order to give their students a corporate experience, PES University offers on campus placement activities for its students, once they pass out as graduates.

      In case of the CSE division the placements are known to be quite well as gradually 85-90% of the students across campuses get placed each year! Typically, majority organizations which come here are IT based so the likelihood that CSE students getting placed is higher! What’s more, of alternate branches in IT also!

      Research and faculty:

      Crucible Of Research and Innovation (CORI) is a multiple domain research facility at PESU. Bharat Ratna Dr. C.N.R Rao ex Director had inaugurated the centre, Indian Institute of Science way back on February 7, 2010. It offers research facilities and a team of devoted research staff who do look into in their domains of interest.

      Centre for Intelligent Systems (CIS) is a research facility at PESU, which conducts research on subjects including Control Systems, Robotics, AI, Speech, Image and Signal Processing, and Low Power VLSI Design.

      PESU provides admission to 40% of its students to UG courses on their Karnataka CET score and 60% seats in view of PESSAT (the college’s own entrance exam) ranking.
