Exteriors and design:
The JBL Go 2 is marginally bigger in size and carries slightly curved edges. It carries 184 g of weight and comes in 12 varieties of colours. For the choosy ones.
The speaker’s covering is a plastic make, however, carries a rubber coating that makes it with an IPX7 rating. It happens to be water resistant and can deal with being submerged into 1m of water for a duration of half an hour.

As far as the sound quality is considered, experts feel that this one is an average entertainer in the light of its cost and size. Hear it out and it appears as if there is a boost in the lower mid-range to compensate for the loss of bass. An area where an improvement can be brought using technology updates.
The speaker performs loud enough inside a 150 sq.ft. room when volumes are towards the higher side. The audio is found to clip at times, while hearing to some tracks at peak volumes.
