Nokia 6.1 Plus review, unboxing the first Nokia phone with a notched display.
In the wake of the launch of the latest smartphone from Nokia, JustInReviews as always, is here with the Nokia 6.1 review, under the smartphone reviews category.
If one wants to summarize this device, it can be said that with the Nokia 6.1 Plus, one can get their hands on mid-range specs, in a premium design.
Done away with the copper lining and the solid metal build. Rather, the 6.1 Plus appears motivated from the Nokia 8 Sirocco to provide a design of glass sandwich incorporated into a thick, strong aluminium frame. It cannot be called the slimmest amongst the Nokia smart phones out there, however, it’s compact enough.
A full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) 5.8-inch display secured with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3, is what you see as the phone’s display. The first one from Nokia, with a notched display.
The primary 12MP camera comes with an aperture of f/2.0, PDAF and 1um pixel pitch while the secondary 5MP sensor carries an aperture of f/2.4, used for depth-sensing. On the front, is placed a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture for clicking those selfies.
The phone can take portrait clicks, UHD 4K videos and more.
The Nokia 6.1 Plus handset runs on an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, supported by a LPDDR4X RAM worth 4GB.
The Nokia 6.1 Plus is fitted with a 3,060mAh battery. Upon undergoing the PCMark Work 2.0 test, the phone was able to achieve 5 hours 10 minutes, which is considered to be just about average.
It comes with a 64GB of internal memory on the Nokia 6.1 Plus, which can be increased by using a microSD card (up to 400GB).
– Nokia 6.1 Plus was able to achieve a score of 116079 on the AnTuTu.
