As quiet as it can get, this one is said to have been launched in China. For all those interested in knowing about the smartphone, JustInReviews is here with its mobile review.

The most recent mid-range handset was on display on the Chinese website TENAA, which hinted that Oppo would make the Oppo A5, official soon.

  • Design:

It is known to possess a 6.2-inch measuring IPS HD display with a 1520*720 pixels resolution along with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The Oppo A5‘s leak demonstrates a top notch in the device. However, an extra sensor as such is not seen.




  • Lenses:

Discussing the camera, the Oppo A5 hosts a 13 MP and 2 MP dual rear camera setup on the rear side and an 8 Megapixels sole camera on the front end for taking selfies and video calls. Oppo has reportedly brought in AI functions for the camera as well, so, one can predict better-looking photographs from the handset.

  • Storage and hardware specifications:

Driving the Oppo A5 is a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor combined with a 4GB RAM. The site just specifies a sole variant with a 64GB internal memory, which can be expanded by means of a microSD card.

  • Battery:

The gadget comes with a 4230 mAh battery, that cannot be removed. Probably the reason behind the handset weighing 168 grams.

  • Software and connectivity:

This dual-SIM cell phone hosts ColorOS 5.1 supported by Android 8.1 Oreo and accompanies Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and a 3.5mm earphone jack as connectivity options.

  • Price and release date:

The cost of the Oppo A5 isn’t made official, however, as per the resources, it is expected to carry a price tag of Rs. 12,900. There is no information regarding the launch date for India.
